I met Swamini Atmaleenanandaji in 2004. One colleague in my office brought me to her class. Swaminiji teaches Bhagavadgita and Upanishads. She is a disciple of Swami Dayananda saraswati of Arshavidya Gurukul of Coimbattore. Seeing her and listening to her I felt she embodies gurutatwa. What is most inspiring in her teachings that appealed to me is that there in them I found answers to my mundane problems, guidelines for my behaviour in the day to day life and an assurance that if we lead our life sensibly as she teaches we can be successful here and hereafter .
I had only bhakti for lord but through her I came to know the great value of shastra for spiritual development. She advocates path of knowledge. She is simply devoid of any desire for a following. She leads simple life depending on the gurudakshina she receives and dedicated her life to teach people who approach her for spiritual knowledge and progress. Many a time I felt she is Divine Mother herself who came to show us her love and to lead us to the shores of immortality.
